The American multinational corporation Intel Inc., based in Silicon Valley, occupies one of the leading positions in the production of microchips for mobile devices, computers, and laptops. In 1986 one of the company's three founders was Robert Noyce, the author of the microchip. Another founder, Andrew Grove, after the Japanese competitors entered the market, managed to steer the company out of the unfolding crisis and make it a market leader again. Unsinkability of Intel is unquestionable to all investors, and since those times its shares have been estimated as very promising for long- and medium-term investments.

In our days, Intel demonstrates impressive growth: the annual turnover hit $ 62 billion with net profit of almost 10 billion. The Company's market capitalization is $ 234 billion as of the beginning of 2018. Yet more, this year it increased by almost 70 billion. Computer manufacturers Apple, Lenovo, and others brands use microprocessors manufactured by Intel. The company's principal interests still lie in the production of microchips, provided that its chief developments are focused on smartphones and tablets. Notably, Intel has created standard headphones for smartphones that swipe biometric information during sports activities. Another promising line of company's activities is driverless car safety developments.
