About Company

Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) is an international brewing corporation, the largest beer producer in the world. Products are sold under international brands Budweiser, Stella Artois, Corona, Castle, Beck’s, Leffe and Hoegaarden, as well as under 500 local brands.

The corporation was formed on November 18, 2008 through the merger of the Belgian-Brazilian company InBev and the American Anheuser-Busch, which at the time of the merger occupied respectively the first and third places in the world in terms of production. The merger occurred through the repurchase of Anheuser-Busch shares for a total of $ 52 billion. InBev, in turn, arose in 2004 as a result of the merger of Belgian Interbrew, which owned brewing assets in Europe and Canada, and Brazilian AmBev, which controlled a significant share of the beer market in South America.
