Sonia Alegre in an interview with Spanish economist Juan Ramon Rallo: "There is a record level of undervaluation in the market today"

Sonia Alegre, head of Freedom Finance Europe in Madrid, spoke about the state of the stock market and what securities Spaniards should invest in today in a video interview with the renowned Spanish economist and publicist Juan Ramon Rallo. A scholar and author of numerous books and articles, Rallo runs a popular video channel dedicated to important phenomena and developments in the economy.

“Shares in many companies are now trading below their value in previous years", said Alegre, who heads Freedom Finance Europe's Spanish unit, which opened this year. “There is a record level of undervaluation in the market today”.

Ms Alegre said the company's clients have recently been able to invest in shares of major issuers in Spain's key stock index, IBEX 35. In addition, Alegre is confident that the company's Spanish clients will appreciate one of its key products - the ability to buy shares at the IPO price on the opening day of public trading.

“At the beginning of this year, market volatility led to a decline in IPO volumes compared to last year's results. However, if the global economic situation improves and fears of a possible recession subside, experts are hoping for a recovery in the IPO market in the coming months", said Alegre. “Among this year's most eagerly awaited stock market debuts are big names such as Elon Musk's global satellite system Starlink, the US payment service Stripe and the Swedish fintech start-up Klarna.”

Freedom Finance Europe's Madrid office opened its doors in April 2022, becoming part of the company's European network, which already has offices in Berlin, Athens and Limassol. In 2021, it was the European business that became the growth driver for the entire corporation's brokerage activities.

Freedom Finance Europe does not guarantee a return on investment in the stock market.
