Spanish newspaper El Mundo: Freedom Finance Europe clients can now invest in IBEX 35 shares

Freedom Finance Europe's expansion in Spain has attracted local press attention. The nationwide newspaper El Mundo devoted an article to a new service available to its clients - the possibility of investing in shares of leading Spanish issuers included in the IBEX 35 stock index.

El Mundo is one of Spain's most widely read and respected newspapers. It is the second largest print publication and the largest electronic newspaper in the country.

The publication notes that Freedom Finance Europe's new initiative follows the opening of a representative office in Spain. "The opening of the office in Madrid demonstrates our interest and commitment to the Spanish stock market, where we expect significant growth this year. The local trading tools in Freedom24's platform will help us get closer to clients in Spain", the newspaper said, quoting Sonia Alegre, head of Freedom Finance Europe's Madrid office.

Freedom Finance Europe, the European division of Freedom Holding Corp., opened an office in Madrid in April 2022 as part of its European network, which also includes Berlin (Germany), Athens (Greece) and Limassol (Cyprus). In 2021, it was the European business that became the growth driver for the entire corporation's brokerage activities. As of December 31, 2021, over 370,000 client accounts were open with almost a third of them (over 110,000) in Europe.
