Timur Turlov for CNN: We Are Aiming for Hundreds of Thousands of Accounts in Greece

Timur Turlov, CEO at Freedom Holding Corp., announced the opening of the Freedom Finance office in Athens, Greece, in a CNN interview. In particular, he mentioned the company's business goals in the Greek market, mentioning that it is going to become a leading broker here by 2025 or 2026.

Freedom Finance is actively expanding its European presence, entering the Greek market being just one of the steps. "We are the largest investment company in Cyprus and we consider it reasonable to expand our activities in Greece as well, where there is a great demand for our services,” Timur Turlov said. In Greece, the company partnered with reliable companies, which would held open the Athens based office faster.

Over the next five years, Freedom Finance aims to get hundreds of thousands of client accounts in Greece. In addition to the company's long-term strategy, this could be achieved with the advantages offered to Greek investors. First, Freedom24 trading platform is completely online; second, all its services, including financial instrument trading, investment ideas, and prompt customer support, are available in Greek language. Finally, Freedom24 gives users access to US and EU IPOs, with a minimum investment amount of $2,000, which means this is also accessible for retail investors.
